    • On 22-26 March 2021, we attended to 3rd International Congress on Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry with our study which is titled “The Provenance of Iron Age Glass Beads: A Chemical and Isotopic Approach”.

       
       

 

  • We participated in the 10th International Ceramics Congress held on 14-16 October 2019 with our “Characterization of Some Wall Paintings with Micro-Raman ”  titled presentation.

  • We attended to the International Materials and Metallurgy Conference 2019 held on 31 November-1 December with our presentation named: “Characterization of Blue Ingots From the Van Fortress Using Non-Destructive Complementary Techniques” in addition 2 poster presentations titled:  “Chemical Characterization of Urartian Glass Beads from East of Lake Van, Turkey.” and “A non-destructive study of Roman Age mosaic glass tesserae”

  • We participated in the MSGSU Archeology Days, organized for the first time this year held on May 15-17 with our presentations which were titled as follows: “Material Research Center for Cultural Property and Art Works-MerLab” and “Material Analysis and Determination of Origin in Some Archaeological Findings”.

  • On April 8, 2019, We attended the HH-XRF 2019 Workshop organized in honor of Prof. Dr. Hadi Özbal.

 

  • Material Research Center for Cultural Property and Art Works-MerLab participated in the Conservation and Renovation Seminar organized by Bursa Chamber of Architects on 30 November-1 December in Bursa with the speech titled “Central Research Laboratory: Material Analysis in Cultural Properties”.

 

  • We attended to “IV. International Ceramic, Glass, Porcelain Enamel, Glaze and Pigment Congress” with “Characterization of Coloring and Opaquening Agents in Roman Mosaic Glass Tesserae from Sinop Balatlar Church, Turkey” poster.
  • attended the “5th International Congress Chemistry for Cultural Heritage” congress held between 03-07 July 2018 in Bucharest, Romania with two posters  titled: “Characterization of Materials In 19th Century Şile and Hora Lighthouses, Turkey” and “A Multi Analytical Approach for The Study of Stone Tessera From Sinop Balatlar Church, Turkey” 

 

  • Material Research Center for Cultural Property and Art Works-MerLab attended the “MASC 2015 ” meeting held by the Art Institute of Chicago in America between May 21-22, 2015, organized by the The Committee of the Users Group for Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography (MASC),  with a poster titled: “Characterization of the Archaeological Mortars of the Ancient Al-Sarah Al-Hamra Castle in Libya”
  • Material Research Center for Cultural Property and Art Works-MerLab attended the “TECHNART 2015 Non-destructive and Micro analytical Techniques in Art and Cultural Heritage” congress which was organized between 27-30 April 2015 in Catania, Italy with the poster: “Material Characterization of the Late Roman Wall Painting Samples from Sinop Balatlar Church Complex in the Black Sea Region of Turkey

 

  • Material Research Center for Cultural Property and Art Works-MerLab participated in the congress held in Vienna on 01-05 July 2014 in cooperation with the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, the Institute of Science and Technology in Arts, the Technical University of Vienna and the Austrian Chemical Society and under the auspices of the European Chemical and Molecular Sciences Association with the poster:“Material characterization of the 15th-20th Century Wall Paintings from Sinop Balatlar Church Complex in the Black Sea Region of Turkey
